Beer Profile

Stout – medium body, dark brown in colour.  It has a strong roasted malt flavour and notes of dark chocolate, vanilla, and a subtle suggestion of heat from the addition of dried Thai and Kung Pao chili peppers.  On the nose you’ll get chocolate, vanilla, stone fruit and biscuit.

Alcohol By Volume: 5.5%

Food Suggestions

This stout can easily stand up to rich, spicy food like barbecued beef, Oaxacan mole, or hearty Szechuan dishes.  It’s amazing with very buttery well-aged cheddars as well.  For dessert, think about items such as chocolate espresso cake, profiteroles, or cream puffs.
