Sous Chef

Our ideal candidate will exhibit the following qualities:

  • Manage a team in a high-volume kitchen 
  • Cook recipes consistently and to spec
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude 
  • Act in accordance with all policies, procedures, dress code, and health and safety issues in accordance with OHSA, WSIB programs, fire regulations and health department requirements
  • Manage and train teammates of varying experience levels  
  • Ability to work multiple stations and train others on multiple work stations 


  • Have at least 1-year of leadership experience in a kitchen 
  • Be involved in creating new recipes for our regular menu as well as feature and holiday menus 
  • Understand menu costing and inventory management 
  • Weekend, holiday and night-time availability a must
  • Multitask and work in a high stress, fast paced environment 
  • Understanding and experience with various cooking methods, ingredients and equipment 
  • Have an interest in the process of preparing and cooking with beer 
  • Scheduling and inventory experience an asset
  • Catering and events experience an asset 

Hours & Compensation:

  • 30-35 hours per week
  • We offer a living wage and co-pay benefits after a 90-day probation period
