Local 519 – ABV: 4.9% | IBU: 27
English Pale Ale – Malt forward and nicely balanced with a gentle hop presence. Golden in colour with aromas of honey, biscuit, and a hint of raisin.
Konventional Rules – ABV: 4.2% | IBU: 32
Kolsch – this refreshing ale-lager hybrid is pouring a golden colour. It’s nicely balanced having a touch of subtle fruitiness and spice with a pleasant hoppy bitterness and a crisp, clean finish.
Untamed Shrew – ABV: 4.2% | IBU: 14
Sour – well balanced, pineapple, mango, and sweet orange are easily identified. Dry hopped with Calypso, Sultana and Lotus hops. On the nose, notes of lemon, lime, grapefruit, and lots of tropical fruit are evident.
Nocturnal Sunshine – ABV: 6% | IBU: 71
Black IPA – smooth, clean, medium-bodied ale with subtle spice and toffee flavours on the palate. Citra and Amarillo hops provide enough bitterness to balance the malt. The same hops were used for dry hopping leaving behind lots of citrus, with hints of stone fruit and gooseberry on the nose.
Full Moon Party (N) – ABV: 3.4% | IBU: 30
THAI IPA – Lively and super refreshing beer; very sessionable. Lots of tropical fruit on the nose with hints of lemongrass and toasted coconut to round it out. A simple grain bill in conjunction with a small amount of bitterness and a touch of lactose provides a velvety smooth mouthfeel and flavour profile.
Leah’s Choc-work Orange (N) – ABV: 3.7% | IBU: 17
Porter – Dark brown in colour with a smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Light-bodied and low alcohol. Dry toast and bittersweet chocolate come through in the flavour. Thanks to a dry hop of Pacifica hops, in addition to both bitter & sweet orange peel, subtle notes of citrus and marmalade are on the nose.
En Garde! – ABV: 6.3% | IBU: 6
Biere de Garde – nicely balanced, medium-bodied ale. Malt forward, with light caramel and toffee flavours on the palate. It has a beautiful, amber hue with a pleasant mix of dried fruit and floral notes on the nose.
Harvest Party 2.0 – ABV: 5% | IBU: 18
Grisette w/Lime – a refreshingly delicate Belgian-style farmhouse ale (aka: petite-saison). Pours gold with a frothy white head. Light-bodied and low alcohol with a hint of spice from the coriander. Nicely balanced, a slight bitterness with a grassy/herbal hop finish. A dry hop of Kaffir lime and lemongrass leaves pleasant citrus notes on the nose.
Purple Rain – ABV: 4.7% | IBU: 33
Gose – a nicely balanced and very sessionable beer with a gentle hop presence. Purple in colour due to the use of butterfly pea flower. Lots of lemongrass provides subtle citrus/grassy notes that pair nicely with the cracked coriander and mineral of the sea salt traditionally found in this style of beer.
All Wound Up! – ABV: 4% | IBU: 10
New England India Pale Ale (NEIPA) – this beer deemphasizes hop bitterness and showcases hop flavour and aromas that are reminiscent of tropical fruit. This “hazy” IPA exhibits strong notes of guava, passion fruit, and mango on the nose. A simple grain bill in conjunction with a small amount of bitterness provides a softer mouthfeel and flavour profile.
